Experience

Stewart is a Chartered Accountant by profession. His most recent position was Group Financial Controller of Iluka Resources Limited, an ASX 200 listed company. Prior to Iluka, Stewart worked in the audit group of PricewaterhouseCoopers.

Throughout his university and professional career, Stewart has sought to compete in sport (primarily distance running) at a serious recreational level whilst maintaining robust career progression.

Stewart established DeltaTeam in 2007.

Specialisations / Interests

• Performance training for specific sporting events in the context of professional responsibilities;
• Life-changes – engineering physical turn-around with individuals who are starting from an extremely unfit / unhealthy base;
• Sports including distance running, cycling and strength training;
• Use of new technology to maximise sporting performance of recreational athletes;

Stewart is a keen recreational sportsperson, placing emphasis on endurance events. Recent running achievements include winning the PWC Cool Night Classic (2003), placing in the top 40 outright City to Surf (2003) and placing third in the short course City to Surf (2004).

Stewart finished in the top 30 in the 2007 City to Surf and has a specific goal to complete an Ironman triathlon by 2009.
