Dennis is a psychiatrist, practicing for most of his career in Perth. Following a period of working at a public psychiatric institution, Dr Tannenbaum began private clinics to offer a different service. Having diverse interests in psychiatry and extensive experience with many conditions, Dennis has initiated a number of clinics in Perth.

With interests such as hypnosis, depression, sexual disorders, genetic psychiatric issues and clinical psychopharmacology, Dennis has focused on population psychiatry and mental health promotion for the past 10 years.

The Infrapsych project and Sentiens represent the current drive towards efficient population based mental health care. Dr Tannenbaum consults at Sentiens Clinic and he remains active in peer review, managing the multi-disciplinary environment and directing mental health research and advocacy.
